Cosmetic dentistry
What does your smile say about you? Give the world the right impression with cosmetic dentistry. Our specially trained team uses the latest procedures in tooth whitening, bonding, crowns and veneers to improve your oral health. Don’t settle for an imperfect grin. Find the procedure that’s right for you.

Veneers
If you have problems with worn, misshapen, or stained teeth, veneers could be what you’re looking for. A thin shell is custom made to fit over and cover the front part of the tooth. This procedure can improve the appearance of spacing between worn teeth. Veneers can also mask teeth that are stained, slightly crooked, or misshapen.

Bonding
Teeth that are worn and misshaped can be re-contoured in a process called bonding. With bonding, a tooth-colored material is applied to fill in any gaps, chips, or breaks in the teeth.

Crowns
Broken teeth or teeth with large fillings may benefit from being crowned. A crown is a custom made cap placed over an entire tooth to help strengthen and improve appearance. This procedure normally involves two appointments to be completed. At Identity, however, it only takes one visit. Our top of the line equipment allows us to create the crown while you wait.

Teeth Whitening
Age, coffee drinking, and genetics could leave you with a less than bright smile. If you are unsatisfied with the color of your teeth, Zoom tooth whitening could be the answer. Our office uses this simple, painless procedure to lighten the shade of your teeth in just over an hour. The system, involving an application of a whitening solution activated by a specially designed light, puts an end to weeks of uncomfortable trays and messy gels involved in other whitening systems. CEREC
No time to wait for your new crown? Taken care of. With our state-of-the-art equipment we can have you ready to show off your pearly whites after one appointment! During your visit for crown preparation, we use a system called Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. CREC uses a 3D digital camera to scan and create an optical impression of the tooth. Computer aided design software is then used to precisely customize the crown or veneer. The design specifications are sent to an in-office milling machine that produces your new crown in less than fifteen minutes.

Family Dentistry
The health of your family is as important to us as it is to you. Identity provides a comfortable and safe environment where you expect only the best in routine dental care.

Cleanings
Having a check-up every six months is a very important part of having superior oral health. Our dental hygienists use thorough cleaning procedures that will help you maintain strong, healthy teeth. Regular visits to our office will help us to recognize problems early on and solve them before they become harmful.

Sealants
Even the best brushing and flossing will not always prevent plaque from building up in hard to reach areas. To prevent cavities from forming in these vulnerable spots, we offer a plastic tooth covering called, “sealants.” The resin that is bonded to the chewing surface prevents plaque from reaching the hidden depressions and groove in the tooth.

Amalgam and Composite Fillings
A filling is used to restore a tooth that has been damaged by decay. The cavity can be filled either by amalgam or composite fillings. Amalgam is the traditional silver material that is used this procedure. It is most commonly used on back teeth that are not readily visible. Composite fillings are made of a plastic, tooth-colored material that is bonded to the teeth. The composite material is especially useful for front teeth, where the filling will be seen.

Endodontic Treatment (Root Canal)
Endodontic treatment, commonly referred to as a root canal, is needed when there is nerve disease in the tooth. To prevent infection, the dentist uses this procedure to clean out the pulp that once provided nutrients to the diseased nerve. After the canal is cleaned, a crown is placed over the tooth to give it strength.

Extraction
In certain cases, when a tooth cannot be saved, it must be removed. To do this, we use a simple procedure called extraction.

Financial
Everyone is entitled to the best in dental care. Cost should not put a limit on your health. To ensure you receive the care you deserve, we do our best to make our procedures affordable to you. Identity accepts a number of insurance programs and works with Capital One Bank for a dental fee payment plans.
